Days, Months or Years? |
The Calendar will be designed to be displayed in the centre of the user's computer desktop. A different image for each month of 2007.
Well, that's where you come in. We are looking for 12 volunteers, each to design an image for a particular month.
There are a couple of specifications: The image must be 700px wide by 500px in height, at a resolution of 72 pixels per inch (this is the size of the 'cover' art that you clicked to get in here. click here to see it again) The image must feature Grissom and Catherine from CSI, because this is a G/C shipper calendar. The image must feature a calendar of days and dates for the month it is for. This information will be sent to you when you are assigned your month, but can be incorporated into the design however you wish. The image must (even if only in small letters along the bottom) include the text "Days, Months or Years?" to show it belongs to this calendar. If you don't include this, we'll add it on afterwards, so don't worry about it. This is here to give you the opportunity to incorporate the words into your design.
Simply go here and complete the form. You will be asked for an email address. This is how you will be contacted with details of the month you need to design for, so please make sure it is accurate. You will also have the opportunity to name three months that you would quite like to design for. Every attempt will be made to assign each designer a month of their choice, but it would be incredibly helpful if you would be willing to design for any month. The closing date for signing up is Friday December 1st 2006. Assignments will be emailed out as soon as possible after this date. All designs need to be complete and sent to the email address you will be given with your assignment by Friday 29th December 2006.
The complete calendar will be available for download online from Sunday 31st December 2006 ready for January 1st. |
